Stellar Solar Commercial developed a unique “architectural canopy” approach for the E-2 Building, utilizing the building’s own structure to maximize energy harvest while creating a striking visual landmark.
The technical architecture of the E-2 Building installation features:
-Bifacial Glass-on-Glass Technology: The system utilizes 516 Lumos Bifacial modules (48 LSX 290W and 468 430W units). These premium, frameless glass-on-glass modules capture sunlight from both sides, harvesting reflected light from the building surfaces to significantly boost energy yield.
-Overhead Perimeter Canopies: We engineered three full-edge-perimeter rooftop canopies and a lower-roof “eyebrow” canopy on the street-facing south edge. This design provides functional shading and architectural interest while turning the building’s exterior into an active power plant.
